This is the last of 2000. This is the chance to make all of your big plans for 2001. I will practice 6 hours a day. I will be as good as Benny by year end. The list goes on and on.
If nothing else i want to wish each and everyone of you the very best with you clarinets for the coming year.
Maybe will will see each other in New Orleans.

Y'all have a good, safe New Year. Please be carefull as I don't want to hear any horror stories of my clarnet freinds getting in any car wrecks tonight. Playing their horns butt naked on the roof in the snow maybe, but no car wrecks.

Do we got snow! You betchum Red Rider. It has been snowing in Dallas for the last three hours and still at it. It's just that we don't have many mountains to ski on.

Aincha gatto traikter?
Ski-joring was invented by Texans, yaknow.
I'm innit up to 16" today. Afta the first two hours of shevellin', the entertainment value drops off.
Me, I hope to have the neighbor's cats come visit when I play. They still hide on occasion of my chromatic (astygmatic?) warm-up.

What a Bunch !! The coming of a new year - especially the AUTHORIZED new millenium - is a cause for solemn reflection. So y'all get out there and reflect already. Me, I'm considerin' how much we could raise for sneezy by puttin' Willie's rooftop display on ebay and sellin' the show to the highest bidder. There's a whole bunch of follow-up comments that I could make about that, but I'm not gonna . . .

We're supposed to get some sleet tonight but the wind is now coming accross Galveston Bay so I don't think it will get cold enough. As for playing on the roof top, its too cold for me. I intend to stay inside with my six-pack of "Irish Harp" and watch my red-neck neighbors get crazy. Its better than Real TV sometimes.

Willie-
Don't know the official *count* but ges we got close to two inches of wet snow here in Dallas last eve and the temp is about 28f this AM. Needless to, the roads are iced up this AM so ges I'll just sit here and count the keys on my CL today. Oh, our family had a belated Xmas yesterday and I got a new CD player and an Edie Daniels CD - so I'll break that in today also.
Hope all goes well for everyone this year - stay healthy.
