Any plastic (PVC) or delrin rod will do the trick - you will have to centre drill it for the screw and then shape the outside, then fit it to the key.

MusicMedic sells delrin rod in various diameters in black and white) and it's a nice material to work with, turns well and getting a good finish is easy.
