I'm going to perform the Francaix Concerto for a competition soon and wanted to ask if anyone knew of a better piano reduction than the one currently in print (for either one piano or two)? I'd prefer to only use one piano for many reasons, but I'm open to any suggestions for a solution to the problem of the nearly impossible 4-stave reduction....... as is my pianist :-)

I think this is a case where you just have to spend the extra money and hire a pianist with four arms.

What edition do you have for the Piano reduction? The Editions Musicales Transatlantiques reduction is just for piano.

Liquorice - haha! I'm afraid that may be true
T.W. - That is the edition I have. It's a bear.
