It's getting increasingly more difficult to tell the scams from the real calls (emails) for lessons.
Its basically now that I assume all inquiries by email are scams unless they can prove otherwise. Didn't used to be like that.
Just got one from a 6th grader that had detailed info for local, but asking to learn soprano or alto sax because he wants to play in the Phila. Youth Orchestra - yet already plays violin for two years.
Didn't know what the heck to make out of that one......
So call me....

A tipoff is to check youR webpage statcounter....before these emails you may see a flurry of activity from faraway places, often in succession.
I get daily emails from unknown agents wanting to sell my "product" internationally. They never specify what product it is, nor their expertice in marketing to that niche.
Automated devices scan for key words....
eg mentioning "tonsils"... triggered a reponse to my posting on http://test.woodwind.org/clarinet/BBoard/read.html?f=1&i=335055&t=335055 indicating that this talent has dimensions that I never thought about on a family-friendly bulletin board.
Good thing I dont make baseballs or tennis balls.
