Well, I've finally decided to go on the dark side regarding my clarinet sound
and decided for one of these 2 clarinets
What is the trouble?
There is not a dealer in my area, yes I have a trial period but I can't purchase both to compare them side by side
Any suggestion is welcome to choose which has the more dark and mellow tone
Thanks!

The sound of whichever clarinet you choose is going to be determined a great deal more by your mouthpiece, reed, ligature, air, and chops than the model of the clarinet.
I'll stop here, though, because this is one of the subjects that's been beaten to death on this BBD.

Thanks bmcgar,
yes, much depends from the player, setup, etc
Of course, I've found many interesting posts regarding the CSG and wouldn't ask how it play etc but I'm wondering if someone has compared them because the AE is (according to the Yamaha catalog) the most dark of the Custom series
Same player and setup of course...
