Next year there is festival in Australia up on the north coast, brilliant weather, beaches and bush walks, and also some of the best chamber music this country sees. An American Clarinet player by the name of Daniel Silver is attending and I am interested to here anything about the guy, as so far I know absolutly nothing. Any help would be appreciated as to get up to the festival will cost me quite a bit and I just want to make sure it will be worth every cent.

Is this for the festival in Townsville?
There are about 40 Google entries for Daniel Silver - most seem to be for the "right" one - copy and paste this little lot into your browser:

My daughter has studied with Dan @ Interlochen the last 3 summers. She really enjoys working with him & feels she has had a great learning experience.
I would guess that Mr. Silver is no slouch when it comes to Clarinet; the last time I was in Bill Brannen's storefront, Daniel Silver's picture was hanging (framed) on the wall next to other Clarinetists like Larry Combs.
