I'm a big "fan" of misunderstood lyrics and Joe's singing is a popular target. Anyone who appreciates Joe's talent knows the lyrics. Anyone not familiar with this great artist can view "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" for insight. I can't disagree with the comparison to Mr.Acker Bilk.....both great talents.

I like Joe Cocker's rather free style..his ability to get to the heart of a tune is always enjoyable. I do find this to be one of the funnier things I have seen lately

Then there's always Bob Dylan, who sounds to me like a bad Eddie Murphy skit/parody of Buckwheat on LSD.

I remember a rehearsal with Celibidache saying to us Youth Orchestra players that
"getting to the point" may mean not always being correct!
