For those who haven't tried it, It's music over the internet--and you can pick the type to listen to.
I was running one of the jazz channels, kind of sitting back and relaxing at my desk when a Benny Goodman piece came on. Sometimes you forget how well that guy could blow. Something about his technique and timing, really makes you want to listen. Right now they have some Lester Young playing with a great clarinet sound. Re-afirms why I took up playing the beast.
Everyone have a great Christmas-whether you are Christian or not.
Good playing

Hi, Jeff !
How do you get it? Where is it? What is it?
If you can get Goodman sounds out of it, it's a great place to go. Some of us (like me are not too computer literate (well, let's face it - some of us are just plain slow in that respect) and need specific directions to find things like 'Spinner'.
Sounds (!) neat-o.
I'd like to add Christmas wishes to all too...

Beware that most of those "free" radio programs (including the MS one, Media Player) all have the capability to snoop on what you're doing. They may not be snooping, but the capability's there.

It's at www.Spinner.com. It's pretty nice. I know they said they had about 150 channels when I last was on it, but I haven't used it for a while. But they add/change channels and put seasonal stuff on, too.

Congrats on getting Spinner to run. I had a divil of a time getting it up, very tricky, but maybe I have lost it due to age. Seems like they could simplify things a bit
