 Rossi mouthpieces at C'fest

Luis has asked me to let all of you who will be at ClarinetFest know that he
will have ten of his mouthpieces with him for sale. Give them a try. They're
excellent, in my semi-humble opinion.

Is it possible to give us a "heads up" about whether they are original blanks or Zinner?

If Zinner, does he have both wood and hard rubber available?

Hi Paul,

Nowhere on the mouthpiece does Zinner have his name, and the material itself does not appear anything like any of the other Zinner based mouthpieces that I have. As far as I know (and bmcgar may confirm) Rossi does not offer a wooden mouthpiece.

The blanks are made by Saluzzi, who I think Luis told me is in Argentina.

As far as the material goes, I don't know what it is, but it seems to be some type of rubber rod that finishes shinier than that used by Zinner. Same weight as the Zinner blanks. I'll see if I can find out more.

No, no wood mouthpieces, and Rossi offers only one model.

By the way, for those going to C'fest, Luis will have ten of his mouthpieces with him for trial.

[Again, I have no business relationship with Luis. I just like to help friends.]

With luck, Brad will sell out everything he brings, and have to take backorders. More power to him (as well as to ALL the makers of high-quality instruments and accessories)!

Old Geezer,

Luis' mouthpieces are $225, so they can't possibly be worth the $$$.....

There is a difference between $225 and $750.
It's not so much the price as the baloney!

I must have missed the guy with the gun *forcing* people to buy this stuff. [rotate]
