 The Tip Jar
Author: Carol Dutcher

I have an enormous glass tip jar and carry it around in the trunk of my car because it is too heavy to lug back and forth into the house. Last week I went to buy groceries and on the way out of the store one of the bag boys offered to help me with the cart. We got to the car, I opened the trunk, and he said, "Wow, what is that?" I said, "It's the band's tip jar. I have a band and last night we played at Smokin Oakie's Bar-B-Que Joint, and if people like our music, they put money in the tip jar." The boy looked at me and said, "WOW. For an old lady, you really rock."

I took that as a compliment.

Playing for tips, you have to take what you get. |-(8^)

From where I stand, you, Carol Dutcher, are a very cool younger lady, and I hope you take that as a compliment.
