As publishers get more and more sloppy about sheet music page layout, sometimes making page turns during performance virtually impossible, I'm increasingly forced to copy pages and attach them to the originals to avoid disaster.
Does know of a source for hinged tape that can be used for this purpose? Or is there some other good alternative?
I've used the usual adhesive tape, but that stuff gets brittle and is a pain to fold, and it's not "archival" at all. I've also used archive-quality artist's tape, but that's even thicker and harder to fold than the the "Scotch" tape.
I've seen scores put together with a clear tape that seems to work, but nobody I've asked knows where to get it.
I'd give worlds to know.
