The "Simeon Bellison Clarinet Legacy" two disk CD is avaliable now...been listening to it and replaying Michelle Z.'s "His Arrangments for Clarinet." Together they make a great audio memoire of a historic musician.
A number of historic photos are included in the album leaflet. These CDs are a must have for clarinetists. Of particular interest is the Mozart quintet with the Budapest Quartet. At the time the Budapest was considered the best of the best, and the coupling with Bellison was really welcomed!
Aside from Bellison, Michelle Z's playing of the Schubert Sehnsuch-Walzer with guitar accompaniment is really fine!

Yes, it's one CD. But all the rest is correct Michele Zukovsky and her father Kalman Bloch are playing very good.

Actually The Bellison Legacy I was referring to is a double CD set from Tantara. I think it's just been released a few weeks.
There's an ad about it on page 36 of the June issue of The Clarinet. Get yourself a copy...it's some super interesting sounds from the past!
