About 10 years ago at Clarinetfest, Tom Fritz (I'm not sure what booth he was working in at the time) spent about an hour on my best R13 (which I had thought was playing perfectly) reseating some pads and making small adjustments. I was amazed at the difference and how well the horn played when he was finished.

He did it all as a courtesy and refused to take any payment for his time and expertise.

A true gentleman...
