Author: Katrina  Date:   2010-06-14 18:33 I haven't seen the movie but there are plenty of Balkan brass bands around. There's one in NYC comprised of Americans, called Zlatne Uste (website: http://www.zlatneuste.org} and one in San Francisco, called Brass Menazeri (website: http://brass.menazeri.com/). Plus there are tons in the Balkans: Karandila Boban Markovic Fanfare Ciocarlia Kocani Orkestar And those are the only ones who have a lot of records out overseas! Hopefully these are similar to the scene in the movie!
