 Leblanc "Regency" Model Clarinet
Author: Ron

Does anyone know when this clarinet was made, it's quality, intonation, keywork, projection, etc. The only thing I could find is that it's an intermediate to entrance pro model. I've done a Google search and found next to nothing about this model. There is one being sold locally and I'm trying to decides if it worth the long drive to try it. Is this an instrument that can be used as a back up for playing in an orchestra at least during a rehearsal if my R13 ends up in the shop? Thanks for your feedback.

The Leblanc Regency clarinet was built on the Sonata chasis and made specifically for a few dealers in the US. The playing characteristics are somewhat similar to the R13 so it may be worth checking out if you can get a good price on it.
