i recently bought a clarinet from an antique shop for £30, it has kenosha, wisconsin, Usa engraved on it and the serial number is b40344, anything would be helpful thanks

It must be a Vito from Leblanc, the only clarinet I'm aware of made in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Will someday be a "classic" and consequently command remarkably high auction bids on TIIASWSNBN (That Infernal Internet Auction Site Which Shall Not Be Named); as are other once-dismissed-as-bottom-feeder-junk such as old white plastic Brilhart sax mouthpieces (and brass Otto Link Tone Masters), brown-box Rico reeds, and other stuff we used to throw away but are now selling for ridiculous prices among the non-cognoscenti.

It's a Vito or (uncommonly) a Holton with the logo worn off.
There may be a model number above or below the serial number. Several different models were made, mostly differing in bore dimensions and the presence/absence of a bell ring.
I have a Vito 7214 for outdoors gigs; after a recent careful regulation and tuning adjustments it plays surprisingly well.

thank you very much for your help. I only bought the thing yesterday and im determined to teach myself how to play it! so if i ask some stupid questions about it then i apologise in advance, is it possible to get this in eb and Bb and C? Pardon my lack of knowledge.
