The sound his clarinet produces (or *he* does) is pretty much the same as that of my old Leblanc Concerto clarinets without the Backun custom gear. So given that, plus the characteristic "jumper" side trill keys, it's a Leblanc clarinet. Personally, while it is a good sound, I prefer the sound--tone quality--of the Buffet clarinet. Nonetheless, great playing......although, as "Dog" Randy Jackson might comment, "A bit pitchy at times".
