Nice set of clips. Will have to study in greater detail. But these clips should lay to rest that somehow Artie Shaw was more harmonically complex than Goodman.

Both clarinetists were excellent musicians - both technically and musically - and offered listeners a wonderful opportunity to hear clarinet outside of the orchestral setting.
