I have to give a hearty "Bravo" to Tony Salimbene of AJS Woodwind Repair (and Roberto's Winds).
Tony has my Selmer bass clarinet playing like a dream, with the most resonant sound imaginable. This horn has been worked on by some of NYC's finest repairmen, but it has never played this well before. He also recently regulated my B-flat and A (marvelously), and did a complete overhaul (with domed brass resonators) of my 1968 Mk VI Tenor, restoring it to far better than new playing condition.
Highly recommended to those of you in the NYC area.

Second that--since Jimmy Yan left this earth I've been taking all the clarinets plus my saxes & my piddly student flute to Tony and he's done terrific work--no BS, no jive, just really solid work at (to me anyway) good prices. I'm grateful for him.
