Buffet R-13 Vs Yamaha CSG ??

I own both; the Yammy is new. I find the Yammy a tad brighter to my ear than my R-13 but not enough to concern me. I find the lighter feel/weight of the Yamaha attractive and the out-of-the-box key action and intonation is great.
Your experience? Am thinking of selling the R-13, but not quite there yet, as it is the traditional "easy blender" for ensembles and the like. But am concerned about using it enough now to keep it from drying out ----and having to re-breakin.
What do you think?

The CSG is a remarkable horn. And it is very much at home in a section of R13s unlike so many other horns (this has to do more, for me, with being resonant enough in the chalemeau to "keep up" with its cousins).

I'm no expert on storage and intermittent use, but for me, once a clarinet has "broken in," it is ok to leave it and come back to it at will. I would advice though remembering that key oil and bore oil dry out with time (even without use), so if you go back to a "closet clarinet" for more extended use, be sure to re-oil.

The "closet" R-13 would be unplayed for about two months (consecutively) each year so ----(but it would be oiled)

The CSG I found much darker and more narrow tonally..the R13 I have which is quite new is much brighter and thinner in the altissimo.
