Ok, since no one has heard of Flames, then does anyone have any reccomendations for good unaccompanied pieces...other than the Stavinsky Three Pieces and the Osborne Rhapsody?

depends on your standard but there is chagrin improvisation and toccatina, martino set for clarinet, and denisov solo sonata
all are very hard

(roughly in order of increasing difficulty)

Twenty-five measures (Elena Kats-Chernin)
Snap (Paul Stanhope)
Four Rococo Preludes (me!!!)
Twist (Gerard Brophy)

The Suterneister is a wonderful little piece too, a little easier than the Stravinsky but still with its tough spots

i really enjoy the o. smith five pieces - well i'm pretty sure that's the title...and i'm pretty sure he wrote another unaccompanied piece as well...a clarinet player here at school just did a really interesting czech piece, called "svitz za klarinet" by miroslav statkic - i don't know how available this piece is, but boy i think it'd be worth it to check it out - imho anyway! - best of luck

Please, people, check out other sections of Sneezy! There's a <b>lot</b> more than just the BBoard!
