Hello. I was wonderring if anyone new any interesting facts about Ernesto Cavallini. I'm playing his Adagio and Tarantella for a jury and need to know a few facts. Unfortunately I have searched and found very little. Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe he was the inspiration for many of Verdi's clarinet parts. I was told once that he played with the reed up, but that may be just a story.
