Which mouthpiece and barrel should I choose?

I was planning on switching from my Selmer signature clarinet to a Buffet Crampon E11, but the main pourpus of my switching is to correct my tone, So I decided to just get a new mouthpiece and I had a CocoBolo Backun barrel, but saddly it now has 2 large cracks from the inside out... So maybe need to get a new barrel...

Mouthpiece- I was looking into a few like...
-Selmer Paris mouthpieces
-Vandoren

I'm not too interested in the crystal Mp though... If there are any other suggestions for MP please list...

Barrel - More like
-Clark W. Fobes
-Buffet

Any other suggestions? For the tone I'm trying to get from my mouthpiece and barrel would be smoothe more relaxed tone, not to bright, but a darker tone, if you know what I mean...

Thanks!

I would go to a Fobes CF+ and just use a stock barrel. Gonzales or Zonda reeds.

There is no answer anyone can truthfully give you for you. People will simply tell you to use what they like but that could be right or completely wrong for you. You need to try as many mouthpiece as you can and find what works best for you and then, after finding the right mouthpiece, do the same thing with barrels. By the way, if you call, or e-mail, Morrie Backun, he may just replace your cracked barrel if you've had it for less then a year. It's worth a try. ESP http://eddiesclarinet.com

thank you both for your help. I think i will actually try out a fobes barrel. I have actually went through 6 different mouthpieces, I think my origional selmer fit best with my likeing. It helped me produced beautiful dark tones, I really like help from my backun when i still had my selmer, they were great together, but i don't think the humidity where I live will hold up to the wood the backuns are made of. But to be safe, I think i might get a Fobes barrel for orchistral/concert performances and a power barrel for marching band or out door performances. :) My backun is actually a year and 4 months old, so i'm not sure if I could get it replaced.
