Can anyone suggest some good etude books for saxophone? I have a few sax students, and I used to use the hegvik modern course series. Seems I cant get those anymore, and I need some etudes for students who aren't quite ready for the Voxman or Ferling studies.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Haberc- Ill put them on my list to check out. i guess these are arrangements of clarinet etudes? I have heard of Labanchi clarinet etudes, but have never played them or taught them.

I really don't know. May have been violin etudes originally, but work really good for sax

Melodious and Progressive Studies for Saxophone, Book 1 (and possibly 2) Edited by David Hite - you can skip to where you need to in the book.

The Hite as mentioned are really good and similar to the Hegvik.
Gary VanCott has had it listed (Hegvik) have you checked there?
The Hegvik series are basically the James Collis Series transposed/arranged for the Sax and Flute.
I have zero respect for their publisher. (I taught Ted's daughter clarinet, and played in a trio with Robin).
I almost got specific with my reasons for not liking the publishing "company", but deleted it.

What about the "Rose Studies", which are Ferling's etudes for Sax (and bassoon?).
