Hi,
I'm looking for a repair technician in London who can do some tweaking of my clarinet on short notice. I really just need a pad changed, a few bits of a cork and the some of the 4 keys at the bottom adjusted.
But, I have a limited timeframe (a week) and I really need someone who works at the highest level of quality.
Can anyone suggest someone?
You can email me details at alexroberts.clarinet@gmail.com
Thanks
Alex

Try John Coppen
As experienced as anyone around and probably a lot less costly than Howarths

Another vote of John Coppen. His work is first rate, he is always only too happy to help you at short notice, and he charges about 1/3 less than Howarths overall.

Agreed John Coppen is very good also. I wonder if he's still based in Bermonsey?

Yeah he's still there - although I don't know how he manages to work from his TINY studio, but I suppose quite literally everything is at arm's length so I guess it works for him!cigleris wrote:
