 Buffet Factory Pics

Last week I had a chance to visit the Buffet factory in France, something I've wanted to do for a long time. I tried clarinets for a couple of hours and had a tour. I put pictures on my blog if you're interested:

Everyone at Buffet was super nice! I definitely recommend planning a visit if you're ever in Paris.

22,000 clarinets per year? That's a lot of instruments.

Did you get a chance to see how they cure the wood billets?

I didn't get to see how they cure the wood. We had an abbreviated tour because we were running out of time. But I did ask if they have a shortage of wood. They said "no" but didn't elaborate. With 22,000 instruments being produced just at Buffet, you'd think it could be a problem.
