 Old. G. Pruefer clarinet
Author: aquagirl900

Just wondering what all I should know about an old G. Pruefer artist model clarinet with serial number 12070? It's a wooden clarinet, my mom got it as a child from her brother who got it used when he was a child back in the 50's. It's keys are very dull...not sure what kind of metal (if anyone knows, it would be helpful because I would like to repolish those keys and try to restore this instrument). I can get pictures if anyone needs them. Any idea on age?

We have discussed Pr's at length so an archives Search [above] should prove interesting to you. I have an older Pr #2501 described on the 2nd "page" of our comments. Luck, Don

Thanx, Mark, Don
