Hi everybody,
I'm working on a project this semester involving the use of the Mozart Clarinet Concerto in film. I have a decent sized list already but am attempting to get a bit more bibliographic control. Can anybody add to this?:
27 Dresses
American Gigolo
The Benny Goodman Story
Breathless
Eye for an Eye
Get Out Your Handkerchiefs
Green Card
The Last Married Couple in America
Masculin-Feminin
Operation Sandman: Warriors in Hell
Out of Africa
Padre Padrone
Stealing Beauty
The Transporter
Thanks for your help!

Don't know if it was featured in the movie, but they used a snippet of K622 in the stage version of "Amadeus" I saw at Stratford a number of years ago.

Cant think of any other movies with K.622. But they did use K581 in "Misery", and it was also use in the last episode of "Mash". I know I heard the kegelstatt in a movie, but cant remember which-might have been "Marathon Man".

"Kegelstatt was used in "Soylent Green."

If I remember correct, they were listening to it on a phonograph.

Didn't the last episode of Mash and Out of Africa use the Quintet?

Ake "Stan" Hasselgard was killed in a carcrash 1948. At the end of the movie Benny Goodman performs Mozart Clarinet Concert (Adagio).
