Normandy barrel length

In a day or two, I'll be receiving a Normandy Resonite clarinet. I'll want to upgrade the barrel but I have no idea as to what the stock length is and I have no instruments to measure it.

Does anyone know the mm length of the Normandy Resonite barrel?

They're usually 67mm.

Hi Dan, the only Normandy I have is a Plateau System, Resonite, its barrel length is 64 mm. I have 2 Noblet wood barrels of differing logos [diff. time periods?], both are 66 mm's. Hope this helps, Regards, Don

Thanks Chris & Don. I think to be on the safe side, I'll probably invest in a measuring tool.

Here's another question I'd like to pose: If the barrel measures 66mm and gives a zero reading on my tuner for open G, would it be better to have a barrel that is 1mm shorter to allow for situations where my tones might be slightly flat due to environmental conditions?
