Hi there!! I have read as much as I can on this site about p-m's, but I can't seem to find anything pre- muller(mueller). I read that huge bit of historical info that one guy has posted on here about pm's, but not sure I totally understood all of it. Has anyone heard of the trailblazer model?? I am wanting to know if this is better than a student horn and worth fixing up. I have already cleaned and oiled the wood. I have also taken all of the old pads off, cleaned the cups, and used silver polish on the cups. A local shop is willing to repad for $100 as I have already done half of the work.
Condition wise, there are no cracks in the wood, one tenon joint needs new cork, all keys are in good condition and not worn down to the base metal.
I've heard great reviews about penzel and mueller professional models, but not really anything about G. Penzel. I've heard the Artist and Professional models mentioned, but nothing on the trailblazer.
This is a boehem system.
Any help would be really great.
Thanks!!
Jennifer

I would take it to Midwest Musical Imports and have them take a look and advise you.
