Good Morning to All,
I just wanted to make a quick post about a Private email message that appears to be spam. The email claims your computer has been infected with a virus and to click on a link to have the virus removed.
Here is a copy of the header: You have received a new private message at The Woodwind Forum from LadyAdministrator, entitled "Important message from the forum administration!".
This is of some concern to me as it came through the Woodwind Forum.com message service. This is at least the second time I have received such an email notice. Is anyone else received similar messages?

Note that the site you mention has an "s" on the end. That is woodwinds.org, rather than the url for this site, which is singular.....woodwind.
So, it is NOT coming from this site.
I would not want to be in the way when Charette aims his cyber Howitzer at them, if he can.

This is not aimed at anyone - it's an FYI:
1) This is woodwind.org, not woodwinds.org
2) What is says is unimportant (no one knows you're a dog on the internet)
3) The return & reply-to addresses can be forged
4) There's no "LadyAdministrator" (except for my wife, and she doesn't post here)
5) I'd never send anything like that, even by accident.
6) The email server I run (I run my own for this very reason) is highly unlikely to ever send anything like that since all outgoing messages are run through a "cleaner" and the chances of someone being able to get into it and change anything on it without my knowing are as close to nil as current technology allows (another computer checks on it every few minutes and text messages me through a different server if things don't look right!)

I've received the same message on two occasions. I also assumed it was
a phishing attempt and deleted without opening.
