Hello again!
I have been thinking about auditioning for the IU summer clarinet workshop and was wondering what others think about it. I am a fan of Klugs and Cohens playing but wanted to hear from what some others say about this "week". (I don't know anything about Eric Mandat, I'm sure some of you could inform me?)
Here is a clicky for ya'll incase you want to gander at it too.

Is there any others ya'll would recommend in the South Eastern Area? (I know Indiana isn't, but I would like to find some closer to home to consider as well.)

I saw Eric Mandat present a clinic at the University of Wisconsin back in March of 2009. He is a master of modern technique and has composed numerous works for solo clarinet that use quartertones, special effects and extenions of pvc tubings. IMHO, he is amazing and well worth seeing.
