 Altissimo Chromatic Scale

In a couple of threads from last year:

http://test.woodwind.org/clarinet/BBoard/read.html?f=1&i=282168&t=281877

and

http://test.woodwind.org/clarinet/BBoard/read.html?f=1&i=282455&t=282400

fingering combinations for a rapid chromatic scale from C to altissimo C (C6 to C7) were given.

In addition to those, I would like to suggest the following:

C o o o / o o o
C# o x x / x x o
D o x x / x o o
D# o x x / x o o plus B sliver key
E o x x / o o o
F o x x / o o o plus LH C# key

F# o x x / x x x (with or w/o LH C# key) plus RH Ab key
G o x x / x x o (with or w/o LH C# key) plus RH Ab key
G# o x x / x o o (with or w/o LH C# key) plus RH Ab key
A o x x / o o o (plus RH Ab key)

A# x x x / x x x plus LH F key and RH Ab key
B x x o / x x o plus LH F key and RH Ab key
C x o o / x o o plus LH F key and RH Ab key

The differences are in the fingerings for F#, G, and G#. The RH Ab key is crucial for these fingerings as well as for the final three notes in the scale, and though optional everywhere else, can be used for the entire scale after C#, starting on the D (that’s how I usually do it).

This combination gives three distinct groups of fingerings, each with a sweep upward of the fingers.

Any thoughts or comments?

Over the years I've worked out numerous possibilites for the fast chromatic run up to the high C, but always come back to this one which I find the most logical and comfortable:

C o o o / o o o
C# o x x / x x o
D o x x / x o o
D# o x x / x o o plus B sliver key
E o x x / o o o
F o x x / o o o plus LH C# key
F# o x o / o o o
G o x o / o o o plus RH Eb trill key
G# o o o / o o o plus RH Eb trill key

A o x x / o o o
A# x x x / x x x plus LH F key and RH Ab key
B x x o / x x o plus LH F key and RH Ab key
C x o o / x o o plus LH F key and RH Ab key

This creates 2 groups, in only 2 partials, with the "break" happening after the high G#.
