I had a bad crack in the upper joint of my R-13 repaired last year and the "stuff" they put in the crack after it was pinned to hide it has pretty much all come out. So this ugly crack stares at me doesn't affect the sound though thanks goodness.
Is there something I can get to fill this space with or do I need to get it back to the repair guy?
A lesson I learned from this is never us those damppit things inside the bore to keep moisture in your instrument as they will keep the inside of the instrument with a higher moisture content than the dry outside and snap you get a good crack.
I now keep a humidifier going all winter in the room that the wood instruments are kept and they are all quite happpy.

I think you should find someone else to fill in the hole since the first guy obviously didn't do it right
