If he's good you will be stunned at how much better your instrument goes after its his first servicing, and after that it will hardly ever need servicing (accepting that you do the regular key lubrication yourself) until pads wear through.

Yes to the above replies. It would be of great advantage to you to get references from your repairman and CHECK THEM OUT. If the others are generally satisfied, then you should be also. If not, you may have to find someone farther off and sent your instrument to them for repairs.
