Keeping in shape without a clarinet
Author: timg

I'm off on holiday and will be without my clarinet for 3 weeks. I know from experience that my embouchure will turn to jelly in this time. I was wondering if anybody knows of any exercises to maintain embouchure strength, which don't require a clarinet?

Some clarinetists have reported carrying their mpc and barrel along to play long tones on while driving, etc.

Unfortunately, the only way to keep a clarinet embouchere is...to use the clarinet embouchere. Like William said, that will probably be the only to keep it in shape. Also consider just tonguing as often as possible. I find myself tonguing William Tell when I am bored.
