I'm returning to the clarinet after a 11 year hiatus. I've spent the last week working on long tones, scales, etc., but my main question is: when should I start back with lessons? Immediately, or wait a while until I can strengthen my embouchure and regain a "feel" for the instrument? Thoughts? Opinions?

I agree, the sooner or better. Why wait until you develop a bad habit and than have to get it corrected. Check out my website for some helpful articles on playing the clarinet. ESP http://eddiesclarinet.com

Yes, start lessons right away. You'll improve faster and make fewer bad habits which you will have to break later. Also, having regularly scheduled lessons will make you practice regularly (or should, anyway).

Now, but with the RIGHT teacher.
Get some recommendations, and perhaps even consider trying a lesson or two with each to find the right one.
