A place I thought I'd recommend for rare or out of print music

Schott Music Shop: http://www.schott-music.co.uk/shop. I found a piece that has been claimed to be no longer in print, and I had trouble finding an orignal, but I finally found it about 10 days ago, and it arrived today! Consering it was from the other side of the Atlantic too!

For those of you who want to know, it was Srul Irving Glick's Suite Hebraique for clarinet and piano, which I had been trying to find an original copy to purchase for years! And the music stores locally I tried to get it through said it was unavailable for purchase.

Did you look on June Emerson Wind Music (www.juneemerson.co.uk)?
It's the first place I look for wind music, and it does list this piece as being available.

I highly recommend June Emerson. They keep you well informed if something is out of stock, will not be printed again and they try all their best to get you pieces that are not in their catalogue. And shipping me to Iceland usually takes no longer than a week and sometimes if I order on Monday morning I will have the order by Friday.

Other place I would also like to recommend and has likely been talked about here before is Van Cott. He describes most of the music in his catalogue and often refers to a good recording or two of that piece. I ordered last year (I think it was) the Klosé Celebrated method(The large one with the orange cover) and I got back a notation that my order was being shipped and that he wishes me a good time with the book and that it would be helpful for me. Very personal service.
