 Selmer B* Mouthpiece
Author: pnr

I came across an older clarinet at a yard sale cheap enough to buy. Inside was a Selmer B* mouthpiece. However, I'm not sure what the B* is and what kind of value it has. It's in great shape (other than a little discoloration) and is only marked B* Made in France (obviously the Selmer logo as well). Any help would be much appreciated.

When I started studying with Dave Weber in 1954, he picked out a new clarinet for me, and put together the same setup he was using.

A professional Buffet (#47926), a Bonade ligature, Vandoren 3-1/2-4 reeds, and a Selmer B* mouthpiece.

Still a fabulous sound.
