I bought an RC prestige Eb clarinet about 6 months ago which came with a hard case.
Ive looked into a triple case but find them quite heavy.
Can anyone recommend a good Eb case with strap? (I have the BAM treking case for my Bb and A)
I think this will be easier to carry the double case and the single Eb case than a triple case.

If you are willing to put your mouthpieces in the outer pocket in the Bam case, then you can easily place your e flat inside the bam double case. Take the e flat bell and put it inside the A clarinet bell, then leaving the barrel on the e flat put it in the accessory compartment. You'll have to wedge the top of the horn where the barrel is into what should be the place for your mouthpiece. There is a little slit in the case material which makes this possible. I do this all the time and learned about it here on the BB!

I have for a few years now used a BAGS single case. They are soft on some sides but hard enough and carry the E Flat perfectly. I also just bought a Marcus Bonna case which also works as a triple which to me is the best one I have come across, and the lightest. I thought about the BAM but the bonna was a better fit for my e flat

When I have to play Eb--and/or C--clarinets along with my usual A & Bb, I simply put my single case(s) into a Lands End carry-all (for lack of a better name) bag with my Herb Blayman quad stand and trek off to the gig. The bag will also accomodate a water bottle, music folder, mosquito repellant, lunch and whatever else one might find convienient to have at hand. I find no need whatsoever to possess a case that carries three or four soprano clarinets. In fact, I have even given serious thought (when my brain allows me too) to using all single cases, A, Bb, Eb & C. That way, I would not be always carrying my A to wind ensemble rehearsals. For orchestra, I would then just throw whatever single cases I need into the spacious L.E. bag and trek off to the gig with just one hand full (leaving the other to drag my bass clarinet when needed).
BTW, those newly popular grocery store bags you can purchase to use instead of plastic will also work just fine. Using a shopping cart, however, might cause some controversy at the rehearsal--LOL.

See thread about Marcus Bonna double (tripple) cases. Bb, A, Eb, Laptop, Music, Accessories and all smaller than the Bam double.

I bought an Altieri bag for my Buffet Prestige Eefer and it has a sturdy strap and a good-sized compartment for reed cases and things although I only trust the mouthpiece in the case.

But how do you manage your Eb and BBb contra cases?
If I were still doing it, I would have a single gigantic case made for the two and put a big wheel on the bottom, like double bass players do.

BTW, Katrina, my Blayman quad stand is actually a double with extra pegs mounted on the remaining two empty corners. I had treaded holes drilled by my local repairperson and use an old Bb peg for my C plus a spare flute peg for my effer. It is a very stable set up and not nearly as heavy as a real Blay. quad might be. After all, at my age, I can't afford to strain any body parts.

I have heard of people buying the real cheap Eb sopranos on the online auctions to get the "gig" style cases.
There is a triple Leblanc with an Alateri case cover that a member has listed in the classifieds.
I agree about the weight of the triple case but if I did not already have my triple I would be looking at the one with the cover. Guess I might have to give Mrs. Donna a call with som measurements for my triple.
