Hi, i have been using Zonda size 3h reeds all along. Thinking of trying rico reserve reeds or any rico reeds that suits me.
I'm using v12 size 3 reeds i bought few years ago now as i ran out of my zonda reeds. Its too thin, didnt need any effort to play and my high notes sounded awfully flat.
I tried vandoren traditional size 3 reeds and they are little too hard for me.
what rico size reeds should i try?
i heard that the zonda reeds now are not as good as before as they are using another of kind of cane. is it true?

If you are going for a Rico, I'd advise you to play either the Grand Concert (or Thick), Evolution, or Reserve.
All 3 are quite good and very playable right out of the box.
Try 3 1/2 for the strength.
I'd avoid the Mitchel Lurie, lavoz, regular line.
