Anybody know a good place to get clarinet parts that has a decent response time. I've been using Ferees but they're rather slow and sometimes you just NEED a certain part.
Also, any suggestions on where to buy the set screws for keywork? I haven't lost any yet, but....it will happen first on my pro clarinet I just know it.

If you are on good terms with your local repair tech, sometimes they will sell you items out of their on-hand stock.

Well the guy here is really nice. I just tell him that for simple things, the wait is too long. Pads and springs are simple after you do it once. Or when I get around to working on the old Alberts that I got last November, I'll simply tell him that is what they are for.
However if it is something like regulating key heights for optimum tuning or straightening bent keys or something that may be risky, I take it right in, especially if it is my good horn. They run a one to two week backlog depending on the time of year and he hasn't been the least bit upset by requests for a couple of pads, etc. as he has more than enough to keep him busy.

Next time you order from Ferree's, ask about the set-screws and other small parts you don't see in the catalog. The company carries a lot of screws and such that don't make it into the published listings.
