Hi There--
I've been looking all over the web for some traditional polka band music for roughly this instrumentation: Clarinets, trumpet, tuba, trombone, and accordian. I could use some help.
Thanks ahead of time--Signe Crawford

German Band Encores (arr. Butts) is scored for 1st and 2nd clarinets, 1 trumpet, 1 trombone, and 1 tuba. It also has a 3-line condensed score in concert pitch that an accordionist should find useful. A full set currently runs US$22.

That sounds about right. Do you know where I can find the sheet music for this collection? Thanks, Signe

That German Band Encores collection is published by Kendor Music, so it can be ordered through most sheet muisc dealers.
Another source of polka arrangements that include accordion parts are the old Vitak Elsnic books. These are currently available through http://vitak-elsnic.com/music/vitak-elsnic-publications/
Other music imported from German publishers is available in the US from http://festmusik.com
