Hello BB’ers!
My Selmer is now four years old and has never gotten an overhaul or re-oil. I was wondering if any of you know any good places in Paris which can do it for me. What I need is:
· Re-oiling
· Fixing of low E key and rod
· New spring for low F
· Fix of clatter of throat A/Ab
· Simple check-out to check if other stuff are in order
As of now, low F-key trills are difficult and low E-key trills (especially using the left lever) are impossible because the hole doesn’t get 100% closed in trills.
Thanks in advance,
DÆ

The first thing that occurs to me is that Selmer do offer their own repair service in Paris - I can't vouch for quality, price etc but at least they would be familiar with the instruments.
Their website has details

I have always found Feeling on the rue de Rome to be reliable and reasonable in price.

I think this may be a good place : my metal clarinet has been overhauled here and they did a good job...
