 Carl Fruhling Clarinet trio
Author: Andy

I recently bought a CD with Michael Collins playing Clarinet trios with Steven Isserlis and Steven Hough. On the disk was a piece by the obscure German or Austrian composer, Carl Fruhling. (Op.40 in A minor). I was wondering if anyone has ever come across the music to this piece as it definitly sounds worth playing.

I've been looking for the music as well. Following is the url to the current owner of the copyright. They sell a photo reproduction of the score (not parts) for 65 Euros.

You can get this trio through your library's interlibrary loan program. That's how I got my copy. It's a terrific piece and worth the effort.
