Dear Boarders,
I ask this because one of the aspects of the Greenline phenomenon is that the pitch characteristics from one Bb to another seems very consistant and for all purposes the response and tone are also similarly consistant to a degree that is noticably better than their wood counterparts.
Today I saw a shiny new Greenline Prestige effer for sale. It occured to me that pitch is the devil when selecting one of these bad boys and if there is any correlation from the Bb production, that would be a VERY good thing in deed.
Unfortunately I did not have an effer mouthpiece with me and I do not keep my utility chops up on a regular basis so I am not equipped to make any such judgements.
Any takers?
Also, Buffet is due to release a top of the line Greenline Bass soon.....Hmmmm.

I thought they already had a Greenline bass on the market.

I had a greenline Eb. It was an RC Prestige. Great horn. No complaints. I sold it only because I bought a Yamaha that had a tone more to my liking.
