Parto, Parto - Two Contrasting Performances

Here are two strongly contrasting performances of Parto, Parto from La Clemenza di Tito.

The first, sung by Elina Garanca with the Concertogebouw Orchestra, is gorgeous, immaculate, musical and perfectly proportioned. It's also a bit "generic." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SopZbt__ikk&fmt=18

The second, sung by Magdalena Kozena, is kick-you-in-the-gut dramatic, with the words and emotions strongly projected. For me, it's far superior.

Bravo Graham. Double bravo McGill. He's the newest monster player, and this is the only version I've heard where the soprano and clarinetist match their phrasing and work off each other.
