This is slightly away from clarinet. A friend of mine has lost the contact info including name for a person in NewYork that has many rare classical saxophone recordings. Does anyone know someone who fits this description? Any help would be appreciated.

Dr. Paul Cohen in NJ would be my first guess.
Angel Negrin in Birmingham, Alabama has a superb collection of classical sax recordings too.

Angel has the most CDs of any human I have ever seen. He showed me his room of CDs and told me they were all, yes ALL, classical sax CDs. He's a great guy and I am sure he would help you out.

Bryan Kendall has an impressive collection of vintage saxophone CDs and DVDs that he sells online. I haven't been in touch with him for several years. However, the email given on several of his DVDs that I have is bryankendall@yahoo.com.
