 Silly Question
Author: Katrina
Date:   2009-05-26 02:07

Well, not silly, but it's something I feel I should already know, and cannot seem to find on Google.

What is the lineup for the orchestra for the Weber Concertino (and Concertos, for that matter)?

The composition database here is a great resource.

I new what you meant, but the correct work is instrumentation, not lineup. This is probably why you couldn't find it on google.

As we used to say, "there are no silly questions -- only silly questioners".

Hey....I'm very silly....but that's not germane to my question! :)

I know the word is "instrumentation" and had googled using that with no success. I also used "orchestration" and couldn't find it.

I also tried the composition database but it only listed "orchestra" instead of the complete instrumentation...

I often check the Kalmus catalog (paper or on-line) for standard work line-ups, batting order, etc. Other on-line rental catalogs also work well (Schirmer, Boosey Hawkes, etc).
