Guy Chadash says that the only difference between Buffet's European models at A-444 and its American models at A-442 is barrel length. See http://test.woodwind.org/clarinet/BBoard/read.html?f=20&i=289&t=289. However, he doesn't work for Buffet. I'd rather find out from François Kloc or another Buffet technical expert.
